Working With Kaiser as Your Insurance: Teletherapy Part 3 of 3




There are several items necessary to teletherapy.

1. A good connection for internet.

2. A good microphone

3. Knowledge of how to connect to clinician.

a. Not clinician will send you a link to connect. Click to connect.


Troubleshooting:

1. Should you have trouble connecting to your clinician, they will instruct you to do the following.

a. Check you volume and your camera settings

b. Verify connection to whatever internet device you use

c. Log our and back in


Unfortunately, through most insurance companies, therapy can only be provided via visual communications or in person. Most of our clinicians are not seeing clients in person at this time. In that even that you and the clinician cannot connect, the session will need to be rescheduled. Carol the scheduler will reach out to you to do this.
